The Day
Guests are warmly welcomed at the Church of St Cross. Please allow a little time for parking and the short walk through the grounds.
The wedding ceremony takes place in the Church of St Cross, one of England's oldest almshouses, dating to the 12th century.
Join us for champagne and canapés to celebrate the newly-weds. Wedding photographs will be taken from 4:30 pm.
Evening guests join us in the Brethren Hall for dancing, music, and evening food served from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The celebrations continue until 11:00 pm.
The evening draws to a close. We hope you'll leave with wonderful memories and a full heart.
Getting Here
Winchester is accessible via the M3 motorway (Junction 9 or 10). The Hospital of St Cross is 1 mile south of the city centre on St Cross Road. SatNav: SO23 9SD.
Limited parking is available on site. Nearby overflow parking is available at St Catherine's Hill car park (5 min walk).
Winchester station is served by South Western Railway with direct services from London Waterloo (approx. 1 hr). The venue is a pleasant 25-minute walk from the station, or a short taxi ride.
We have a room block at The Winchester Hotel & Spa for the night of 22nd May. Please quote "Smith Wedding" when booking.
Other options nearby include The Wykeham Arms and many B&Bs in the city centre.

Questions
We'd love for guests to dress smart / formal. Think morning suits, lounge suits, or cocktail dresses — anything that makes you feel wonderful. Our colour palette is deep green and ivory, so if you'd like to complement the theme, we'd be delighted, but it's absolutely not required.
We love your little ones, All children and babies are welcome! Although crying babies may find them selves at the back of the church during the ceremony

There is limited parking available on site at the Hospital of St Cross. Additional parking can be found at St Catherine's Hill car park, approximately a 5-minute walk away. We encourage car-sharing and taxis where possible, especially if you plan to enjoy a drink or two!
Your presence is the greatest gift of all! However, if you would like to give something, we would be grateful for contributions to our honeymoon fund. Details will be shared closer to the day. We do not have a gift list.
Absolutely. Please let us know your dietary requirements when you RSVP and our caterers will ensure there's a delicious option for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-specific menus.
